Culture Shock

Hey. Well, I'm still in grad school still seeking those elusive degrees. I feel like Bill Murray, taking baby steps the whole way there. I'm in the last week and a half of my extension of my Greek class and I'm having to learn half the language in that amount of time! It's a bit of a shock to the system. I suppose if I were to act like a special agent getting ready for a secret mission to Greece and I have to become proficient in the language before I can go, it would make it go by easier. It's really not going too bad, although I haven't a clue what kind of grade I'm getting currently. Things are coming so quickly and lots of different parts of speech look alot like other parts of speech and I'm afraid that in translating that I'll end up saying "I'd like to eat your dog on Tuesday" instead of "Let's meet to have prayer on Tuesday". Oh well. I'm not giving up yet. In fact, I'm going to go study now. Go and enjoy your local culture.
